Student Visa

An applicant has to apply directly with the school where he intends to study. The applicant will then be required by the school to submit documents for evaluation. The school will then decide whether the applicant is qualified and admissible for enrollment.
If the student has been found eligible to enroll, he will receive a letter or notice of admission from the school. From this point, the applicant has two options or alternatives as to where he wants to secure the student visa. He may secure the student visa in Japan through the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo or in the Philippines through the Bureau of Immigration, Intramuros, Manila.
If the student decides to get the visa in Japan, he has to inform the Philippine school of his decision. After which the school can forward his documents to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Manila who in turn will forward the same to the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo together with the authorization for the Embassy to issue the visa to the student.
3.a. The Embassy will then review the documents forwarded by DFA.

3.b. Prior to issuance of visa, the applicant must submit the following documents:

3.b.1. Certificate of Scholastic Records;

3.b.3. Family Registry;
