Work terms and internships :-
You should know that in Canada a work term, internship or on-the-job training
is considered as an employment, even if it is for a short period of time
or if you are not paid. The fact that you have found a job or internship
in Canada is not a guarantee that a work permit will be issued.
The following information applies to citizens of Belgium, France and
Switzerland only. There are, however, bilateral agreements between certain
Canadian and European universities which may apply to temporary residents
as well. You should contact your university to find out if they have signed
any such agreements. Click on your country of citizenship for information
on the various exchange programs available |
